The process of polarizing and „otherizing“ could also be analyzed using the deep culture perspectice. Dualistic thinking combined with singularism (Chosen People) urges the (not yet) chosen one to degrade the other. Good (bad) political programm vs. less good (less bad)political programm might not be enough dualism to satisfy the deep cultural assumptions of occident I. Successful leaders should not disregard the unconcious thinking structure of their potential electors.Reference
